When I read this theme for the month, I knew what time means but I wasn't sure of the true meaning of the word timelessness! So I searched on the net and found that it means "a state of eternal existence". I was like wow!!! I hope all of us can achieve that!
We all complain about having less time for loved ones as we are kept so busy by our materialistic and physical pleasures! Our loved ones complain that we can't give time to them and we complain we don't have enough time as we are occupied by our work and meetings and other social engagements and then our own gym schedules, etc. We all go out as a family to a dear ones celebration on account of birthday, wedding or anniversary etc but do we really have a family time or is it a mere pomp and show? Do you at those parties really interact with your souls to know about your relatives or is it just a mere exchange of pleasantries and glances to what they are wearing and eating or how's their life taking them along, etc.?
Let's look at the other side, how many neighbours do you know? How much do you interact with them? Are you aware that in case of any emergency they could be the first ones who can be right beside you to help? Have you ever helped one given close proximity in terms of distance?
So our office and work keeps us busy! How many organizations have you worked for? Or how many people have you worked with in the past or now? How many of your old colleagues do u still interact with? Could you recall when did u meet them last?
I feel in today's times we are all becoming like machines! We just wake up, eat, do our jobs and sleep! Is that what you want your life to be? Yes you are killing time but more than that you are killing your existence! Who would and rather why should people remember you when you are no more?
I am not asking you to start doing social work and help underprivileged people that you don't know! But can't you start with managing your time well enough to spend quality time with your loved ones? It doesn't matter how many times you meet whom, what matters is what impression have you left while you met them? Did you touch their heart in someway? Did you bring a smile on their face? Could you relieve them of some burden? This can only happen if we start behaving like a human than machines!
Timelessness to me is sort of being ageless! Whatever you be, wherever you be, irrespective of anything.... Leave a mark on others to remember you for your existence even when you are not there! Being immortal is not just meant for a few but for each one of us!
