Can we love each other So much so As to free ourselves And each other From one another? Like temple pillars Together but Rooted in our spaces Sacred and unaffected? Two banks Of a river That flow and bend synchronous but revel in detachment And bliss? Can we embark Upon a long journey Like rail tracks That run parallel And never collapse Into each other? In such an interval And in non-attachment Can true love flower Without Resentment. Can we then so love and set each other Free? Can we?
