Life as I understand is a journey. Journey of the soul. One day a brave, little soul decided to go on a journey to explore the realms she had heard about. She was curious and wanted to experience herself all the different moods of the Creation. Divine Mother (the self –effulgent source) did not stop her. She knew that this was the destiny of this brave heart and also knew, the little one would come back much wiser and stronger. Before the little one left home, Divine Mother gave her a spark from her bosom. She told her that spark was her identity, the sign that she was a part of the brilliant source nay the source itself. She further said till the little one held on to the spark she would never be lost and would come home safely.
The journey went on; the tiny soul in a child was pure, vulnerable and innocent, beaming with joy, easy in forgiving and forgetting. She could love unconditionally, had no enemies, always spoke the truth and loved life. She often saw her divine mother and shared her experiences with her and did as her mother told her. As the child grew up, an ugly monster called ego could not tolerate the happiness of the soul. Slowly he managed to crawl into the life of this soul. A strange feeling of suffocation came over the little one but she could do nothing. The harder she tried to get rid of it, tighter the monster’s grip became. She forgot her identity and kept trying in vain. As the time passed she got lost in the world. Now the spark she carried was buried under the debris of sad and strange experiences. She could no longer see her mother and her mother’s voice got drowned in the cacophony of varied voices. She was miserable now. She was sick and tired and wanted to go back home. She cried out to her mother. One night she dreamt of her. Her mother reminded her of her identity . Suddenly our tiny soul realised that she too had the spark, she too was a part of the luminous source nay the source herself. She was delighted. She came out of her slumber and affirmed-
“I am the spirit, whole and free. I now allow my physical, emotional and mental health to reflect this perfection in every way.”
This is the story of each one of us. Somewhere during our journey we get lost and lose our true identity. As long as we remain ignorant of SELF-we cannot lead a fulfilled life. We will keep repeating the rhetoric of disappointments, deceits, intolerance and loss of faith in mankind. The way out is to find SELF in all aspects, to learn and understand the SELF within and without. What a great treasure it is when we realise that in us are found all the potentialities and merits to lead a glorious life. When we learn to look with in and muster the courage to “Be ourselves”, the whole world opens for us. It is empowering to realise that every moment of our life we have the opportunity to be our self-to act from our Being. Every moment, life gives us the joy of freedom, the power to make our dreams come true and we throw up our hands and embrace the entire creation as our own. What else can one want?
Forever in Gratitude to Her Divine Grace!
