Humour means to put someone in a good mood or to change the atmosphere from serious to happy it also implies to be hilarious or smiling. People of all ages’ respond to humour. The majority of people who experience humour is by being amused, or smiling at something funny, or if someone is trying to crack jokes or doing something which makes us laugh, we consider that the person who is into all these activities has a good sense of humour.
There are different classes of people; wherein you will find some with humour written all over the face, which mean whatever their action, talk and things they do make people laugh. Then there are other kinds of people who are very serious and don’t indulge in humour. So when they see people with humour and fun they find their behavior to be inexplicable, strange, or even irrational.
Humour depends on the personal taste or to the extent where a person will find something humorous which depends upon a host of variables, including the location the culture the maturity level, which includes education intelligence for example children favour puppet shows or cartoons (Like Tom & Jerry or even Donald Duck) which have punches of humour and these type of humour appeals more to audiences.
Humour and laughter exist everywhere; let it be at social functions, or when you have gathering of people around. The existing of humour has many theories which can’t be explained. Humour is also considered as a gift of god some say people are born with or some people try to cultivate the habit.
Humour is also very useful to have a long and a healthy life for example I have read this some time back, many years ago a person was diagnosed as "terminally ill." He was given six months to live. His chance for recovery was one in 500. He could see the worry, depression and anger in his life contributed to, and perhaps helped cause, his disease. He wondered, "If illness can be caused by negativity, can wellness be created by positivity?" He decided to make an experiment of himself. So he decided that he would live his life in a positive manner and he started laughing at humour he made humour a part and parcel of his life he had so much of pain that he could not sleep. Laughing for 10 solid minutes, he found, relieved from the pain for several hours so he could sleep. He fully recovered from his illness and lived another 20 happy, healthy and productive years.
Lastly I just wanted to tell that even though we are down with stress depression worries in our life we should try to avoid these and try to laugh and enjoy humour so that life will be smooth and good. As Mahatma Gandhi said “If I had no sense of humor, I would long ago have committed suicide.” So my dear friends enjoy your life to the fullest and have loads and loads of humour and laughter so that you all will lead a happy and healthy life.
